News

The 7th ConTeXt Meeting will take place September 23-28 in | Brejlov, a lovely town in the Czech Republic just 30km south of Prague (50km by car). It wil be followed by TEXperience 2013 (an annual CSTUG conference) on September 27–29, 2013 at the same place; you are welcome to stay longer and join this event, too.

Official ConTeXt documentation

• ConTeXt reference manual. This is the most comprehensive and up-to-date general manual, covering everything except the various experimental mechanisms.
• Context, an excursion (1999) by Ton Otten and Hans Hagen (169 pages). This manual is available in a screen version, as well as in Dutch and Czech. Despite being 12 years old, it is still eminently usable.
• The MetaFun manual, describing MetaPost, the MetaFun format, and ConTeXt.

Comment: There is no offical repository there the development is going. The source code is released irregularly and placed at the http://www.pragma-ade.com website. The git and source browser repositories are updated by a script from the Current and Beta versions of the source code.
