Talk:TeX-live

I'm grateful for the rpm and the work that went into it to facilitate installation and upgrading. Nevertheless, I think this page is confusing: it's not about installing TeXLive, but only about installing a certain redistribution, and it's only valid/interesting for users on rpm-based systems. As soon as TL2006 is out, I intend to replace it with a generic description of the steps needed to install TeXLive. Now that teTeX is defunct, this will be the standard installation for most users, and we need clear and unambiguous instructions on how to get it working with ConTeXt. (It should also be marked on the teTeX page that it is unmaintained and will grow more and more out of date.)

updating TeX Live

Before I forget: I had to set

tlmgr option location http://mirror.ctan.org/systems/texlive/tlnet/2008

before I was able to update. But the page needs to be rewritten and moved to a better place.
