What if I want to have a quotation encompassing several paragraphs (not specially indented), according to the standard English convention:

"First paragraph...

"Second paragraph...

"Last paragraph."

?

don't think it does, currently. This is best sent to the email list as a feature request.

verbose code vs verbatim code

shouldn't "verbose code" be "verbatim code"?
