Adam, you're absolutely right. I will change the title, the current one promises a bit more than gives.

The reason why I wrote about fondu was that that was the way I did it. Using the PC version came as an afterthought, and I did not have the time to check it.

I am afraid I am a typical Wikilogist: newbie with ConTeXt, speak bad TeX, and have my first Mac. In other words I don't really know what I'm talking about. However, I have the feeling that with some other Mac fonts it may so happen that only the Mac versions are available. This will happen if someone tries to install fonts existing in the Fonts folder of OS X.

So, maybe I'll just do some rewording there. Please, let me know if you agree. (Or, even better, modify it yourself! This is Wiki, after all.) --Ville 23:20, 2 May 2005 (UTC+3)

I do modify things here, it's just that I like to encourage the original posters to do the big architectural changes themselves, so as not to make them think others have swept their contributions under the rug. I like the style of what you've written, and your fresh eyes have already come up against some bugs/logical incosistencies in current ConTeXt: I hope you keep contributing here and on the list! You might want to try this again, I'm afraid a few things are broken. Firstly installing with the --afmpl doesn't allow me to compile the test document texnansi-sil-gentium.tex, even if you omit --afmpl the document refuses to compile with the sample document.
