On my Ubuntu 14.10 I also have the directories .local/share/fonts and .local/share/font-manager/Library where Font Manager installs new fonts.

I am always running into problems when I install new fonts. I never managed to use fonts in the font-manager directory. There are a lot of A-Z subdirectories in .local/share/font-manager/Library

Any hints? Should we add these path to OSFONTDIR?
