needed after updating: 

sudo mktexlsr
sudo fmtutil-sys --byfmt cont-en

Maybe for mkii, but for mkiv this is not needed and doesn't help either. Mkiv does not use kpathsea at all, so there is no point in running mktexlsr, and fmtutil-sys doesn't understand mkiv formats yet. Taco 11:28, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
