== Spam problem ==
I don't know how to deal with spam on this wiki. Perhaps I could protect the main page, so spam is not the first thing you see. But then any change has to be proposed here or by mail to me. Any comments?

perhaps it's contrary to someone's ideal of what a wiki should be, but what about requiring a user to register in order to make changes? --[[User:Adam|Adam]] 01:49, 5 May 2005 (CEST)
----I '''really''' like the new look of the wiki! --[[User: that does Braslau|Alan]] ----Under the 'News', it should be - On January 2, 2021 (& not help: bots are clever enough 2020), availability of "A not so short introduction to create an account (that happened last time) ConTeXt" v1.6 by Joaquín Ataz-López --[[User:Patrick GundlachRamkumarkb|Ramkumar]] :fixed, thanks [[User:Taco|Taco]] ([[User talk:Taco|pgtalk]]) 08:59, 13 January 2021 (CET)
I would be happy for the front page to be restricted - shouldn't change so often anyway. Otherwise is there a possibility of having one of those human-only registration forms which requires typing the contents of a graphic, to stop the bots? I don't know how that might be implemented though. --[[User:Duncan|Duncan]] 12:23, 5 May 2005 (CEST)= General ConTeXt Questions =
RightThis is not the place to ask general questions about ConTeXt. If you have a longer question, I noticed the best thing to do with it is create a new page (see [[Help:Editing]] for how to do that was ) with a bot description of the last timeproblem, just after posting. Yeahand put the special text <code><nowiki>{{howto}}</nowiki></code> in it, locking which will cause it to be listed on the main [[Category:How to]] page would be another good step. Once I If you have my RSS client set up againa short question that is appropriate for the [[FAQ]], I you can keep add it there, and leave the answer blank. If you have a closer watch on changes (again) so it's not just Patrick quashing question that you wish to discuss, the best place for that is the Spam[http://www. ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg--context ConTeXt mailing list] or the "Discussion" page associated with a particularly relevant Wiki page, though you can also use the [[UserTalk:AdamFAQ|AdamFAQ's "Talk" page]]if there's not an obvious choice.

Does context support unicode'russian' instead of 'Russian' --[[User:Ousia|Pablo Rodríguez]] ([[User talk:Ousia|talk]]) 17:50, I cant display vietnamese in context output DVI?29 June 2022 (CEST)
* Yes. It supports Unicode (utf-8) input. See :fixed, thanks [[VietnameseUser:Taco|Taco]]. The process it describes does not do unicode-encoded output, so viewing the DVI stream won't do much good. With a properly-configured setup, the DVI viewer should get the right glyphs, but I haven't experimented with that configuration. I suggest sending mail to the [http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/context mailing list]. --([[Usertalk:AdamTaco|Adamtalk]]) 08:40, 30 June 2022 (CEST)
