Description
When a table is included (using \placetable) the 'split' option can be specified to enable a long table to be split over several pages. If the table does split then the table on each page is labelled "Table 1a Table caption", "Table 1b Table Caption", "Table 1c Table Caption" and so on.
This command controls the formatting of the sub-table label.
