→‎Integrating with an editor: Get rid of link to ConTeXt bundle for TextMate
== Integrating with an editor ==
If you run ConTeXt from an editor, you need to source <{{code>|setuptex</code> }} in a terminal and then open your editor from the same terminal. I.e. if you run your editor from the shell.
Depending on how your editor intializesinitializes, you may still need to source it {{code|setuptex}} in order to run ConTeXt directly from your editor, . In theory, it is sufficient to add <{{code>|/installation-dir/tex/texmf-<platform>/bin</code> }} to your {{code|$PATH }} in order to use the suite. You can try to add this to the paths that your editor searches.
For information about configuring [http://smultron.sourceforge.net/ Smultron] and [http://www.uoregon.edu/~koch/texshop/obtaining.html TeXShop] (which are popular TeX editors on Mac) see [[ConTeXt Standalone/Mac Installation]]. If you don't mind investing For a bit list of money (abt eur 50)text editors with ConTeXt integration, [http://macromates.com/ TextMate] with (see the not yet officially released) article on [[ConTeXt Bundle for TextMateText Editors|text editors]] is an easy-to-install option.
