The canonical list of Unicode blocks is in the file {{code|Blocks.txt}}<ref name="Blocks">The Unicode Consortium, ''Blocks.txt'', ftp://www.unicode.org/Public/UNIDATA/Blocks.txt, Retrieved 2017-11-03.</ref> of the Unicode Character Database. The ConTeXT names of the blocks are defined in the source file {{src|char-ini.lua}}.

The order of the blocks in the table below is different from that in the file {{src|char-ini.lua}}. The blocks are ordered here numerically by their starting code points, whereas they are ordered in that file alphabetically by their names.
