Pgfplots is a data plotting package based on PGF/TikZ. It is now included as a (third party) module for ConTeXt (with TikZ)
An alternative package is MPgraph using MetaPost.
Example
(Data on low-temperature thermal expansion coefficients downloaded from [1]).
