Context The resulting files are stored under \code{TEXMFCACHE}. ConTeXt MkIV will read from all paths mentioned in <code>TEXMFCACHE</code> (whose default value in Standard TeX Live is <code>TEXMSYSVAR;TEXMFVAR</code>) and write to the first path that is writable. While reading, the last found match will create take precedence in the case of duplicated cache data cache . <code>TEXMFVAR</code> in standard TeX Live is <code>~/.texlive2011/texmf-var</code>;Context MkIV in MacTex will use (<code>~/Library/texlive/2011/texmf-var</code>in MacTeX), so this is where the file cache will be stored. If you are unhappy with that, you can set the environment variable <tt>TEXMFCACHE</tt> to your preferred location.
