You can use all Handling XML in ConTeXt has improved dramatically with the advent of PlainTeX math MkIV. A new infrastructure, based on Lua, makes typesetting, manipulating, filtering, and reusing XML much much easier than before. Unfortunately, this means that most of AMSmath in ConTeXt; for the latter you may need existing documentation is now obsolete. In general, the '''nath''' module (see on [ftp:"old" MkII code uses upper-case <tt>XML<//dante.ctan.org/textt> in its commands, the new MkIV code uses lower-archivecase <tt>xml</macros/context/contrib/maths/t-nath.tex CTAN])tt>.
The "native" ConTeXt way of math is MathML - rather verbose but mighty.
