You can use all of PlainTeX math and most of AMSmath in ConTeXt; for the latter If you may need the '''nath''' module want to get more from your code than just a PDF (see on [ftp://danteor DVI) output, e.ctang.org/tex-archive/macros/context/contrib/maths/t-nath.tex CTAN])HTML or if you need a good typesetting machine for your XML code, you're right with ConTeXt.
