Summary

The command \setupblackrules is used for configuring \blackrule and \blackrules

Settings

\setupblackrules[...=...,...]
width	max dimension
height	max dimension
depth	max dimension
distance	dimension
n	number
alternative	a b
style	style command
color	color
type	mp yes no
mp	name

Option	Explanation
width	width across the page. Default = 1em max same as 1em
height	height above the baseline. Default = \exheight max same as \strutheight
depth	depth below the baseline max same as \strutdepth
distance	distance between rules in \blackrules dimension default = .25\emwidth
n	number of rules in \blackrules number default = 3
alternative	a treats width as the dimension of one rule b treats width as the dimension of the whole series
color	color of the rule
type	mp use metapost for rule? yes use \vrule no use \novrule
