Perhaps the most useful system modes are <code>*mkiiis </code> and <code>*mkiv</code> whichdetermine whether MKII or MKIV is being used. These This modes are handy when youwant different setups for MKII and MKIV.(The complementary <code>*mkii</code> does not exist; insteadyou may use <tex>doifnotmode{*mkiv}</tex> etc.)
