SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics, a [[XML]] based format) is nowadays supported natively can be converted to the PDF format at runtime by ConTeXt MkIV (LuaTeX), provided you have InkScape installed as below .
Supported vector graphics formats of Mk II are [[MetaPost]] (and [[MetaFun]]).
