'''Update:''' I am sad to say that the old server machine will never come back online any more. A completely new server will be ordered, installed, reconfigured based on the current server data, and placed in a data centre. As you may guess, such massive migration operations take quite a bit of time, even when fully prepared. And with no advance notice and in the middle of everybodies vacation it will take considerably longer than the optimum time. Friday evening, somebody at Utrecht University deliberately pulled the plug on the NTG server, which means that all the mailing lists hosted on NTG.nl are currently down. We hope to be able to fix the situation on Monday, as we already had plans for a different physical location for the server. However, no actual promises about when the service will be restored can be made at this time. [[User:Taco|Taco]] 09:25, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
