Cool. Patrick, IMO it would be good if you create [[http://www.contextgarden.net www.contextgarden.net]] as an index page for all of the separate subdomains. You have so many now that it would be nice to have an overview.

* Good suggestion. for a start I'll add the subdomains on the navigation bar. I won't be home the next few days, so all work will take some time (as usual). But I'll think about a main page at www.contextgarden.net --[[User:Patrick Gundlach|pg]]

I have changed the appearance of the pre element; the lines were sticking together in my browser (safari). I hope I didn't break any other browsers' appearance. And I have added a simple TeX prettyprinter. See [[Help:Editing]] for a description (where else should I describe the new features?)

The lineheight of pre is now a bit loose for me, but not so much so that it is actually irritating in Gecko-based stuff (Mozilla 1.7.2 &co). In konqueror (Khtml) it looks worse, but that's more or less normal for me (I have font problems). Someone else should check.

This is not the place to ask general questions about ConTeXt. If you have a longer question, the best thing to do with it is create a new page (see [[Help:Editing]] for how to do that) with a description of the problem, and put the special text
<nowiki>{{howto}}</nowiki>
in it, which will cause it to be listed on the [[Category:How to]] page. If you have a short question that is appropriate for the [[FAQ]], you can add it there, and leave the answer blank. If you have a question that you wish to discuss, the best place for that is the [http://www.ntg.nl/mailman/listinfo/ntg-context ConTeXt mailing list] or the "Discussion" page associated with a particularly relevant Wiki page, though you can also use the [[Talk:FAQ|FAQ's "Talk" page]] if there's not an obvious choice.

That new prettyprinter does wonders for the Changes page. Much easier on they brain now.

* Perhaps the line height is different on the pages where texcode is included in the small element? In http://sandbox.contextgarden.net/Changes there is no small element, as opposed to [[Changes]]. Hmm, I just looked at the pages with Camino (gecko) and IE 5 (mac) - and I am not statisfied. --[[User:Patrick Gundlach|pg]

I have added a wiki<->tex interface. See http://sandbox.contextgarden.net for an example. If this looks stable, I'll put it in the main wiki.

General ConTeXt Questions

This is not the place to ask general questions about ConTeXt. If you have a longer question, the best thing to do with it is create a new page (see Help:Editing for how to do that) with a description of the problem, and put the special text {{howto}} in it, which will cause it to be listed on the page. If you have a short question that is appropriate for the FAQ, you can add it there, and leave the answer blank. If you have a question that you wish to discuss, the best place for that is the ConTeXt mailing list or the "Discussion" page associated with a particularly relevant Wiki page, though you can also use the FAQ's "Talk" page if there's not an obvious choice.

History

 • On July 25, 2020, the NoTitle wiki extension was installed.
 • Since July 1, 2020, this wiki and live.cg.net and source.cg.net are all using ConTeXt version: 2020.06.30 17:30 (LMTX).
 • Since May 28, 2020, we are running on a new mediawiki core, version 1.34.1.
 • The 13th ConTeXt Meeting took place in Bassenge-Boirs, Belgium on September 16–21, 2019.
